polls and pins: settle it in the group chat
stop scrolling for the address. pin the important stuff and let the group vote on the rest.
every plan has the same three questions: where are we meeting, what time, and who is bringing the speaker. until now the answers lived somewhere 200 messages up. plan chats now have polls and pinned messages, so the answers stay where everyone can find them.
polls for the eternal "thurs or fri?"
tap the plus in the composer and start a poll. add the options, send it, and watch the votes roll in live. open polls sit behind the polls button at the top of the chat, so latecomers can still weigh in without hunting for it.
pins for the stuff that matters
pin any message: the door code, the venmo, the "we moved to the back patio." pinned messages live one tap away in the header, and they stay out of the way of the conversation.
- start a poll from the chat composer
- open active polls from the chat header
- pin or unpin a message from its options menu
less "wait, what time?" and more actually showing up. that is the whole point.
