Below the general bio of Girls and Girlies will be resources to use to prepare for our August group talk. (Here is a bio of who we are: Are you a girlie obsessed with ghosts, aliens, true crime, cryptids, and anything else eerie or spooky? Do you crave new like-minded friends to accompany you in a deep dive into your favorite creepy topics and share the cozy, warm feeling of a terrifying horror film? Our group meets every first Thursday of the month from 7-9 at a city proper establishment to discuss topics like a true crime podcast or documentary, a trilogy of horror movies, a gothic fiction novel title, personal experiences and beliefs about spirits, historical sightings of Mothman or the Loch Ness Monster, etc. We also at times organize some extra events, like going to the movies, listening to a live lecture expert, or going on haunted tours. Our group began on MeetUp in Oct. 2023 and is now instead moving to other platforms. [We are LGBTQ-inclusive. We welcome anyone female/femme/trans/non-binary of age 21+. We are disability-inclusive].
