description: We'll meet in the Groundfloor lounge between 5:45-6:00 pm for tea. Free blank journals with prompt cards available for those who want them. Nadia Oye will guide us through restorative yoga, leaving you refreshed and recharged. Afterwards, 10-minute mini-Reiki sessions are available to book in the quiet library. What to Expect: All levels welcome—complete beginners to experienced practitioners. Nadia offers modifications so everyone participates comfortably. Focus on gentle movement, deep breathing, and releasing daily tension. Yoga Session: Gentle warm-up and centering, restorative poses held longer for deep relaxation, breathwork to calm the nervous system, brief meditation/savasana to close. What to Wear: Comfortable, stretchy clothing. Layers recommended as body temperature shifts during relaxation. Space Details: Quiet, dimly lit environment. Please silence phones and arrive early to settle in peacefully. Health & Safety: Inform Nadia of injuries, limitations, or health concerns before class. Listen to your body and rest when needed—this is your practice. Bring: Water bottle, yoga mat, eye mask, blanket, journal, small pillow, warm socks. About Nadia Oye: RYT-certified yoga teacher based in Oakland, teaching hatha yoga, breathwork, and meditation. Offers compassionate sequences for all bodies/levels, energy assists, and breathing practices. Energetic healing includes intention-setting, guided meditation, and hands-on (light touch) Reiki. Agenda: 5:45-6:00 pm: Arrival, tea, and journaling with prompts 6:00-7:00 pm: Yoga stretch and flow Optional 7:00-8:00 pm: 10-minute Mini-Reiki healings in the Library Sweet treats and more tea available for those staying longer.
