This series brings people together before and after select performances in the city, providing a platform for discussion, reflection, and inspired action. Theatre has a unique ability to hold a mirror up to society, challenging our assumptions, provoking critical thought, and inspiring empathy. This series seeks to amplity that power by providing a space for collective processing and meaningful dialogue. The third in this series will be Broken Pieces (Sat. 6/21): The play is called "Broken Pieces", by Brian Beals, it is part of our series Playwrights from the Inside. This series is a collection of transformative works created by incarcerated and formerly incarcerated playwrights addressing many justice and social change issues.The play is short but is followed by a discussion bridging theater to advocacy.
