But eventually, I lost my footing. I chased the highs, was fired from the job I hated, & left for California to reset with my parents. In those 3½ months, I sobered up, reconnected with church, dove into AI, & found clarity. I landed a new role & returned to Austin in March — grounded & grateful. This June marks six months sober. And this apartment — once full of wild nights & dreams — now becomes a space for reflection, release, & honoring the woman I was, the one I became, & the one I’m becoming. I want to honor the Morgan who tried, the one who chose to heal, & the one standing here now — supported, grounded, & surrounded by love. I’m opening this space 1 last time, & I’d love to share it with you. This is the final event held at Morgan’s Place & the beginning of whatever rises next.
