The Flashion Walk brings together designers, stylists, and style lovers to turn Chicago’s streets into a moving runway. It’s about making connections, spotlighting local talent, and showing the world that our fashion scene is bold, experimental, and thriving. We’ll start in the serene South Garden of the Art Institute for introductions, conversations, and photo ops. Then we’ll walk 20 - 25 minutes at a casual pace to the Chicago House Music Festival in Millennium Park, where we’ll keep the energy high, turn heads, and enjoy one of the city’s most iconic summer moments. STYLE THEME Vibrant PINKS and/or YELLOWS. Be bold but comfortable. Our walk ends on the Great Lawn, so stilettos and pointy heels are discouraged. SCHEDULE 12:30 pm | SOUTH GARDEN: Networking & photo ops 12:45 pm | Featured guest interviews 1:00 pm | Welcome & announcements – Co-host + featured designer + featured stylist 1:15 pm | Flashion Walk (Michigan Ave + Randolph St) 1:45 pm | PRITZKER PAVILION: Check-in line 2:00 pm | Walk through Pritzker & Great Lawn 2:15 pm | Enjoy music (food for purchase) 3:00 pm | Official event ends, but stay for the music! FAQ Do I have to wear pink and/or yellow? Yes, at least 1 major piece. Other colors are fine, but we want a strong, unified look. What’s the walk like? About 20 - 25 min, casual pace. Choose shoes for comfort; grass-friendly footwear is best. Can photographers bring pro cameras? Only during the South Garden & walk to pavilion. No pro gear is allowed inside the Pavilion or on the Great Lawn. Can I bring food or drinks? Food & NON-alcoholic drinks are welcome. No outside alcohol. Bags/coolers must be under 26” × 15” × 15”. What’s not allowed at the Pavilion? Smoking, large umbrellas, tents, staking. See full rules at above link.
